Fairy Blue Dress👗

Finally, summer is here, it’s June!

Hopefully, all the rain and wind are going to stop and we will have real summer days in Prague. But during the windy days, we can still create a chilly summer look during the work week.

The crucial role of the whole outfit is played by, no doubt, the blue ASOS dress. It reminded me a little of old-fashioned denim overalls, and we all know that fashion tends to come back.IMG_7158c

Of course, this dress doesn’t look like the ones our moms wore in the 80s. It is a wonderful combination of an old-school dress with contemporary details like the wide belt and the narrow hem with a long cut on the back.

To complete the look and make it more suitable for the windy weather, I decided to match the dress with a white sweater which was the perfect choice for a casual office look. The sweater is a V-neck that is parallel with the dress’s shoulder straps, so everything looked symmetrical. IMG_7182b

Let’s not miss out the essentials of a woman’s closet – the shoes and the bag. It took me a while to decide, but my eyes stopped on the super comfortable and casual brown wedge sandals to combine my office look with elements of street style. A dark purple bag was the ideal color and style match with the shoes, adding a darker shade to the whole outfit.IMG_7170b

Use all imagination when it comes to accessories. The more monotone and simple is your outfit the more extraordinary are your accessories.

Of course, it’s worth mentioning the purple lipstick that gave the look more tone and got me a lot of compliments. 🙂

Apparently, everyone has their own interpretation of the dress; it was funny to hear from a male colleague that it made me look like Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz. All together these pieces create a stylish and professional look that will be suitable for any work occasion or make you look like you just came out of a fairytale movie. 🙂
